Preliminary Dyno Results!

As promised, here are the results so far for our non-intercooled VT1 version of our upcoming S85 SC kit.
Final results may vary slightly as production spec hardware/software is not yet 100% finalized.
Car : 2006 E60 M5, 100% stock except for SC kit
Fuel : 93AKI
Boost pressure : ~6PSI
SC unit : Vortech V3S

We did crank up the boost to 6.5PSI and tweak the software slightly today. Here is the result of that experiment :

The M5 SC comes with a complete new high pressure cast plenum chamber for 10cyl, very complex molded plastic intake system, highly sophisticated bracket and belt drive drive system, expensive fuel injectors, high capacity bypass valve system, complex oil separator system and last but not least the software. Making the S85 run boost properly is a huge engineering task which took us over 8 months in programming alone.
The VT2 version of this kit will be intercooled. VT1 kits can easily be upgraded to VT2 as well.
We have had no issues at all with the clutch in the SMG, the kit does however come with new SMG software that is matched to the new torque output.
